Team Picture Day is Saturday May 10th

Team and individual picture will be taken Saturday, May 10th. We have more teams this year so please have your team there 15 minutes early so that there are no delays in the schedule. Team MUST have all forms filled out and be waiting in line at their scheduled time. Parents need to have their order form filled out before they arrive or get their even earlier so you have time to get the form filled out. Please see the schedule below for your team's time.

Individual picture make up day is Tuesday, May 20th – 4:00- 6:00 at Truckee Regional Park

TRUCKEE SPRING KICKOFF CLINIC

CLINIC DESCRIPTION: This 3 hour clinic will cover all aspects of the game of baseball including pitching mechanics, catcher skills, infield play, outfield play and the fundamentals of hitting. Players will be separated into groups by age and skill level and rotate through several fundamental
skill stations.

CLINIC DETAILS: This clinic is designed for players aged 7 – 12 and will be conducted in two sessions.

Session #1 is for 7-10 year olds and will run from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Session #2 is for 11-12 year olds and will run from 1:00pm-4:00pm.

This is what you can expect to work on while at the clinic:

PITCHING: Drills for proper mechanics, pitch grips, increasing velocity, consistency.
CATCHING: Drills for receiving, blocking, throwing, force plays, tag plays and bunt plays.
INFIELD: Drills for improving footwork and fielding ability.
OUTFIELD: Drills for improving tracking and catching flyballs.
HITTING: Drills for vision, balance, timing, increasing power, improving consistency and the mental aspects of hitting.

COST:

Online Registration - $33.00 ($43.00 after May 11th)

Aaron Demosthenes - Scout for the Colorado Rockies Organization, assistant coach for WNCC, Owner of WB
Joe Genung - Founder of RBI (Reno Baseball Institute), former assistant head coach at Wooster High School
Nick Kuster - Scout for the Detroit Tigers Organization, assistant head coach at Wooster High School
Jon Foss - Current Head Coach at Reed High School

Note: Coaches are subject to change due to availability

WHAT TO BRING:

Baseball or other athletic clothing including a baseball hat
Cleats are recommended
Baseball glove
Baseball bat & batting gloves
Helmet if you have one
Catchers please bring your own gear
Water bottle (Ice cold water will be provided)

CHECK IN INSTRUCTIONS: Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the clinic.

Truckee Little League Batting and Fielding Clinics

We are proud to offer free batting and fielding clinics with former semi-pro player Gaylord Morales!!

These session will focus on the specific needs of the players at the session. Registration for the hitting clinics is restricted to 6 players per hour. Fielding clinics are open for drop in and players are encouraged to stay for the entire two hours. Please see the schedule below.

These sessions are free of charge and registration is available on a first come first serve basis. Each child may only register for one hitting session but may register for multiple fielding clinics. To register send an email to Karen Sewell at niftyedie@aol.com. If you do not have email you can call her at 214-6309. Registrations are not final until you have received an confirmation from Karen. When registering please include the players name, division, team, session date and time you would like to attend, and a 2nd and 3rd choice in case your first choice is full.
